Goodbye 2009 . . . Welcome 2010

I am writing on the blog for the first time since October 2009. Needless to say, I have been neglecting this blog. A lot has happened in our lives since I last posted, and there are so many things to write about. I promise you future recaps of the last three months of our lives, but for now, I want to share my goals for the new year. I am not big on New Year's resolutions, but I will give it a shot.

  1. Post more consistently on the blog. Obviously, that was a problem in 2009.
  2. Take chances. I am not sure what this means for me, but I want to try new things and step out of my box. Maybe it means something small like trying a new recipe, and maybe it means making a big life change. Either way, I hope it means something fun.
  3. Making a habit of telling and showing the people I love, appreciate, and/or admire how much I love, appreciate and/or admire them.
  4. Keep up the exercise, and challenge myself more. Learn to appreciate working hard at the gym or on a run, instead of dreading my (hopefully) daily exercise.
  5. Teach Finn some new tricks.

Happy 2010 . . . can you believe it has already been a decade since Y2K? Crazy!
